Summertime calls for a summer bucket list, am I right? We already have one thing checked off our ever-evolving bucket list so hey, we’re getting somewhere! There are so many things we want to do during the summertime, so what’s better than having our blog to keep a running list of all the things we want to do. + we want to share some inspiration for all of YOU based off things we have done/are wanting to do, that we think you should add to YOUR summer bucket list. Are ya ready my friends?!
Travel:
2018 has been the year of going on trips, especially this summer. We’ve even started a couple of traditions to visit Chicago and California each year… two of our fave spots! But sometime, we would love to go on a trip to Hawaii or Greece, ah!
What’s on your summer bucket list as far as traveling goes?
- Take a trip to Chicago for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: last year in Chicago we talked about wanting to come back this year for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and we’re so glad to have it all work out and be able to go!
- Meet our Instagram friend when in California: for the past few years, we have gone to different parts of California. The BEST part is where we are going this year is allowing us to meet one of our Instagram friends for the first time.
- Go on a ‘no destination’ road trip with some besties
- Go on a trip to Hawaii
- Move to California: ever since I was young I have dreamt about moving to California. It’s something that I want to experience, and the best part is if it’s not something I like, I can always come home.
- Stay in an overwater bungalow: Bora Bora babyyyy!
- Live in a hotel for a month
- Go on a trip to Greece
- Visiting Waco, Texas and all things Chip & Joanna Gaines
- Going on tour with a band
Shopping:
You know shopping is on our bucket list, come on we’re fashion bloggers!
- Nordstrom on Michigan Avenue: even though we have been a few times already, it’s one place that will always be on our bucket list because it truly is heaven to someone who loves shopping!
- Golden Gems: The cutest Brick and Morter that screams my name with all of their handmade goods + accessories.
- Going to NYC to shop
- Shopping in Paris
Food:
If you know anything about us, food is life haha! But really, we just love us some good and oh so yummy food wherever we may be.
- Make Reese’s peanut butter cup smores: This just sounds ahhmazing!
- Swig n Sweets: I have heard just how good their cookies and drinks are from SO many people
- Eat at a restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives
Things in St. Louis:
For a fun summer activity, instead of just going to the mall like we usually would, we have been exploring St. Louis finding new shops and places to eat.
- Go to the farmers market: we haven’t been to our local Farmers market this year, so it’s a must before the summer is over.
- Food truck Friday: more than 20 local food trucks in STL gather for a fun night of friends, food, and music.
- Trying out Vincent Van Doughnut: Just look how good all their doughnuts look
- The Dapper Doughnut: Already sold on the idea of a milkshake and doughnut together! Talk about a sugar heaven overload.
- Trying out a new restaurant each week: We have already started checking this off our bucket list, yay!
Fun:
Life is all about having fun and treating yo’ self so that’s just what we’re going to do!
- Watch the sunrise on the beach
- Have a beach bonfire with a group of friends
- Watch a movie at a Drive-In theater
- Visit Museum of Ice Cream and take all the pictures
- Getting our nails done at Olive & June
- Go to a baseball game and eat all the cotton candy
- Swim with Dolphins
- Go glamping at Mendocino Grove
- Police ride along: even better, ride along with an officer on Live: PD
- See Lava in Hawaii

Y’all are giving me all the summer inspo!! I love going to Cali in the summer to visit my brother in LA and bestie in San Fran – I feel like I need to add beach bonfire to my list when i go see them 🙌🏼 Also the dapper donut is so fun, the milkshakes are super worth it!
