Hey babes! We hope you’re having a great week so far. We’ve actually had a really good one and crossing our fingers have something exciting coming up soon. It seems like we’re constantly adding things onto our wish list because we’re always looking online and seeing what others are wearing.. usually the latest and greatest things! Our list is ever evolving week to week, so we wanted to share some things with ya.
5 things we’re loving
James Michelle Jewelry:
Recently we’ve been looking for some more delicate jewelry that we can wear everyday. I have been following @jamesmichelle for a while now and have always loved her pieces. Not to mention Jamie is a total babe and so sweet! We both ordered some necklaces and just got them in the mail.. to say we’re obsessed is an understatement. We’re not kidding, we kinda want everything!! We’ll be doing a whole post about what we got soon, so stay tuned.
A few pieces we’re loving right now: Mini Arrowhead Necklace, Coin Necklace, Karma Necklace, and the Circle Choker (this has got to be one of our favorites)!
Velvet Blazers:
Want to know something else we’re in love with right now, velvet blazers! I just picked up this velvet plaid blazer from Romwe. It’s almost identical to the Free People velvet trim blazer, but more than half the price! And guess what, I (Katie) have seriously had a velvet blazer for at least 7 or 8 years! This is one of those times that I can say I’m glad I didn’t get rid of something haha.
Blankets:
You know us and our love for being cozy. Blankets are a must in this house and we’re kind of embarrassed by how many we have on our beds! But who doesn’t love being wrapped up in coziness?! I actually have this cardigan that feels like a blanket and lucky you they make it in a throw blanket. If you’ve ever felt anything of Barefoot Dreams, then enough said! We’ve seen this plus reversible blanket at Target and it’s not only super soft, but they donate a blanket when you purchase one!
If you want to feel like you’re wearing a blanket all day then this cozy reversible coat and this faux shearling coat is for you. I have one and it’s one of my most worn coats during those cold months! Plus, you will look super fab.
Red velvet mules:
We’ve been loving red, mules, and velvet for a while now so combine all those together and you get amazingness, red velvet mules! We really like how they just add a little something extra to whatever you are wearing. These red velvet mules have a flattering pointed toe that we adore.
Styling tip: A pointed toe can be a shorter girls best friend by drawing the eye all the way down to the tip of her toe!
Hats:
We just got this Brixton fiddler hat in the mail – apologies in advance because you will be seeing it A LOT!! We are loving Brixton hats because they come in different sizes, which is great for us, since we have ridiculously small heads! Now that we have discovered this brand, we no longer have to shop for hats in the kids section anymore 😉 Some other hats we are currently obsessing over is this fedora hat and this ivory beret that we think would be very flattering on!
Leopard:
Leopard is in right now and we love it! It’s another one of those prints that we see as a neutral. I actually picked up these leopard mules at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and am so happy I did! A little heads up they run small so order 1/2 a size up. We saw this leopard coat at Forever 21, and I’m thinking about getting it. Would I look chic or more pimp like…thoughts?! haha.
