6 Fashion Brands That Are Worth the Splurge

With so many brands out there, it can be hard to decide which are the best to invest and splurge on. That’s why we’re here to share 6 fashion brands that we personally think are worth the splurge.

6 Fashion Brands That are Worth the Splurge

Over the past few months, we have found ourselves purchasing more pieces that are going to stand the test of time and less fast fashion items. Because of that, we’ve majorly cut back on shopping. Which in return, has made us even more conscious of what we are buying.

We opened up about the biggest blogging mistake we’ve made, which really correlates with this whole topic. Instead of buying a ton of items that are only going to be worn a few times by us, we have started to invest in items that we know we will be wearing for years to come.

6 Fashion Brands That Are Worth The Splurge:

Start by asking yourself what you wear the most of? Look through your closet, at your shoes, accessories, and you’ll most likely see a pattern of what you gravitate towards. For us, we wear a lot of graphic tees, sweatshirts, denim shorts, sneakers, jeans, and hats for accessories.

1. Lack of Color

If we’re wearing a hat, it’s 95% likely that it’s from the brand Lack of Color. They are an Australian label that produces a range of men’s and women’s hats.

Our favorite style of hat is the rancher. It’s inspired by vintage men’s style and stiffened with 100% Australian wool. We have it in both ivory and noir. Another hat that we really like, is their mesa cap. It’s a structured baker boy cap in woven 100% genuine leather.

2. Anine Bing

ANINE BING offers luxurious staples, wardrobe basics and statement pieces that are current and timeless. This has been our latest favorite brand for a few reasons – the quality, material, and softness of the fabric. We actually wrote a whole review on AB that you can read here.

You can find everything from classics to jackets to dresses to shoes to accessories. We love their tops, more specifically, graphic tees, sweatshirts, and deep v neck t-shirt.

3. Agolde

AGOLDE is a premium denim label based in Los Angeles. Most likely, you have heard of them before because of their parker shorts. They are a vintage loose cut-off short, mid-rise, and 100% cotton. We have been wearing this particular style for a few years now and still love them.

They have many other styles of shorts along with jeans. If you’re looking for a higher rise denim short, then you will love the Dee shorts. As far as jeans go, we like the high rise Sophie skinny crop, Jamie high rise classic, and Riley high rise straight crop.

4. Golden Goose

Our favorite brand of sneakers is Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, which is made in Italy. They have so many different styles of sneakers, but their most popular style is the Superstar. Because they are made of leather the price starts around $480+. The best part is you can find many of their sneakers on sale year-round!

Many people like to make fun of their sneakers because they have a very worn in, distressed look to them. Another reason why we love GG is that they have a wedged sole on the inside which gives you a bit of added height. Still not sure about them? Check out our blog post on are golden goose sneakers worth the price + the best dupes.

5. Gucci

Sneakers are a part of my (Lydia) uniform and for my birthday last year, I got a pair of the Gucci New Ace sneakers. On top of that, white sneakers are all I wear, so these have quickly become my most worn. I do have to note that because of the Italian leather, some days they aren’t the most comfortable. But overall, they are a great pair of simple shoes for anyone who wears sneakers as much as I do.

6. Louis Vuitton

What I love about Louis Vuitton is they stand behind their product. If you saw my Instagram stories then you would know about a month ago, I got a brand new Louis Vuitton bag for FREE. You’re probably thinking what? Here’s the back story… three years ago I decided to treat myself to an LV bag. I am someone who never changes their handbags until they “die”, so although the price tag is crazy, I knew that I’d get my money worth out of it. I have carried this bag every day for 2.5 years and it truly still looks brand new, except that there is a small crack in the canvas.

So, I took my bag back to see what could be done about it and they immediately said they would replace it. They actually no longer make the style of my bag, so I got to choose something new. I was like a kid in a candy store, hah! I ended up narrowing it down to the Flower Hobo Monogram and the Lockme Hobo. Both very similar, except the price tag which in the end, made me go with the Flower Hobo bag.
