The trends are coming in full force and our favorite stores have the best selection of clothes right now. It’s been that weird transition time where the spring and summer clothes are coming out, but it’s still freezing here. We haven’t done much shopping the past several months, so we are now just starting to add new items into our closet. And we are sooooooo excited!
Hooded Sweatshirt (small) and High Waist Skinny Pants (US 2)
Both of us picked up a pair of striped pants at the end of January. We talk more about them in our how to wear striped pants blog post.
Anine Bing Vintage Bing Tee (small)
I had been eyeing this Anine Bing Tee online and everyone wearing it on Instagram. My mom ended up surprising me with it on Valentines Day… thank you!
Textured Bikini Top (small) and Ribbed Bikini Bottom (small)
Truth time… I have a bubble butt (typing that out sounds weird). Basically, I have a hard time finding swimsuits that I feel comfortable in. I want a bottom that isn’t going to show off everything while not being all the way full coverage. I picked up this Textured Bikini Top and Ribbed Bikini Bottom and am in love. The bottoms are the perfect amount of coverage + they don’t ride up/dig into the skin which is rare for me!
Double-breasted Coat (size 2), Top with Collar (medium), and ZARA Bag
H&M has quickly become a favorite of ours this past month. We placed a good size order and loved almost everything. The double-breasted coat (we’ll be talking more about it soon) and collared top (comes in 2 colors).

We both picked up the hooded sweatshirt (comes in 3 colors). You can see how Lydia wore/styled it in the first picture.
Camo Pants from ZARA
Utility pants are a huge trend for 2019. Relaxed pants with utility like pockets are a great alternative to jeans. I picked up these camo pants when Zara was having their big winter sale. They are no longer available, but they do have a wide variety of utility pants to shop from.
Lack of Color Hat (currently on sale), Metallica Boyfriend Tee (medium), and Studded Belt (one size)
This Lack of Color Hat and Boyfriend Tee were both bought at the end of January on major sale. We can not wait to really start styling all of our band tees when the temps get warmer.
Rolling Stones Tee (small)
My Rolling Stones Tee was also bought in January on sale. We may have just ordered two other band tees a few days ago, oops!
High Seas Top (sized down) and High Seas Tie Bottom (runs a little big)
Swimsuit shopping is the worst, at least for me. Truly, I have been wearing the same swimsuit for years because I never can find one I like. I have been wanting a high waisted bikini for a couple of years, but never could find one that didn’t make my flat pancake butt, and short waisted body look good. I found this top and bottom and I am in love!
Jinx Diamonte Belt (one size)
Give us all the belts right now, literally! We’ve been wanting to add more detail to the outfits we put together whether that be from added accessories, bags, or belts. We picked up this Jinx Diamonte Belt (silver), Studded Belt (black), and Circle Buckle Belt (white).
Shopbop’s annual buy more save more sale is going on right now, so we snagged some new styles to try out from one of our favorite brands AGOLDE. Both got a pair of white denim: High Rise Skinny Crop Jeans and 90s Fit.
