7 Spring Looks You Need From Lulus

It’s that time of year where we’re all shopping to get new spring and summer clothes. It’s warming up outside, people are starting to travel more, and you just want to look and feel cute.

People ask us all the time if we ever share clothes? The answer is not really. We adore each others style but tend to stick to our own closet. Our style is similar, but Katie likes adding in timeless pieces with a modern take like a blazer, tailored pants, pair of heels, etc. Whereas Lydia tends to stick to a minimal wardrobe that consists of basic tees, sneakers, and a denim jacket.

Once a new season arrives, it gives us that urge to add some new pieces to our closet. #1 Jumpsuits

#2 Dresses

Although fall is our favorite season for both weather and fashion, we love spring and summer for all the cute dresses. You can easily take your dress from day to night with a change in shoes and accessories.

#3 Shorts

What can we say, denim shorts are the best. Agolde has our all-time favorite brand for shorts and in the summertime, they are on repeat almost every day. They have a ton of different styles, but their most popular is parker vintage. The style Lydia is wearing is Dee and they are so comfortable!

#4 Sandals

Everyone should have a couple pairs of sandals in their closet. I (Lydia) wear sneakers 99.9% of the time, but there is always a few instances where I do need to bust out a pair of sandals.

#5 Midi Skirts

In our minds, a midi skirt is that perfect item to have in your closet. It can be styled so many different ways! We always look for a midi skirt that either has slit, wraps or has some type of buttons that you can create a slit with. These types of skirts allow us to not look “squatty”.

#6 Accessories

We love to add some fun accessories each season to our closet. Accessories are an inexpensive way to add a little punch to your wardrobe.

#7 Tops

You can’t forget about adding a few cute tops to your closet. Great for pairing with your favorite pair of shorts, thrown over a jumpsuit or dress, and styled with a midi skirt.
