Selling clothes isn’t just for fashion bloggers. We have been selling our clothes online before even starting a blog. You heard it right, everyone can do the same thing.
The process of selling is in no way difficult, it’s just time-consuming. Here are our best tips on how to sell your clothes online:
- Find what app is going to work best for you: we personally like using Poshmark.
- Clean out your closet: It can be so easy to hold onto your clothes but get rid of anything you haven’t worn in a while. Does it spark joy?
- Sort out your items into categories: we like doing this because we find it makes the selling process easier.
- Sit down and write out the details of each item: before you post your items, take time to write down the brand, size, how much you originally bought it for, etc.
- If you don’t know how much you bought it for, look up the brand on Google.
- Be specific: be specific about each item so you don’t have to answer a ton of questions you may receive. This can be the quality, does it run true to size, length, inseam, etc.
- Start listing: You can always break this up into a couple days if you have a ton of items you’re going to sell.
