Hello, lovelies! We hope your week has been going well. My week has been way less hectic than last week.. if you don’t know already, I am an instructor at The Bar Method. Last week I was filling in for another teacher and my schedule was crazzzyy (at least of me haha). So now life is back to “normal” and that makes me happy!
To say I LOVE the color blush is probably an understatement so when I found this Topshop wrap top I knew I had to have it! I ended up wearing this outfit to the JORD + Fauxgerty event that we went to a couple weeks ago… it’s one of those outfits that just makes you feel fab!
I was a little worried that it wouldn’t look as great on, but I was totally wrong. Wrap tops truly are flattering on almost everyone! Plus, it’s at a great price point and who doesn’t love that!! Talking about love, can we talk about those sleeves? They give me majorrr heart eyes every. single. time.
Let’s talk about my jeans for a minute or two. They are Levi’s and I’m crazy about them! They probably aren’t my first pair of Levi’s because let’s face it, I’m 49, and I am sure I have owned a pair sometime in my life 😉 They, however, are my first pair as an adult hahaha.
I had seen Levi’s all over social media so I specifically hunted for a pair.. don’t we all do that when we see something we love?! Most of the pairs that I found were high rise and to be honest they kinda scare me! Maybe because I’m older and high rise/mom jeans make me truly look like I am wearing a pair of “mom jeans” and I don’t mean the flattering kind, but the kind that you see on a skirt on Saturday Night Live!!
These Levi’s had a lower rise only 9 1/2″ versus 11″ so I thought I would give them a try. They are a perfect combination of being a high rise jean but not making me look like I have a mom butt! Since I am 5’2″, I cut them to skim right above my ankle and distressed them. I rolled them in this picture because of my KILLER blush heels, but with a pair of mules I’ll wear them unrolled!
