Happy vday babes. This look is perfect for Valentines Day which BTW is one of my favorite holidays! We’re planning on making cookies + pizza to celebrate, which are two of our favorites.
We aren’t the type to really ever dress up, hence the reason this post is ON Valentine’s Day. But hey, if you need a last minute outfit idea you’ve come to the right place. You know how we love our casual & comfy looks! We’ll be wearing our loungewear, but if we were to go out then this would most definitely be an option.
Polka Dot Wrap Dress Valentine’s Day Outfit
I’ve been seeing ruffle wrap dresses all over the place. The ruffle detail adds the perfect feminine touch that can be worn for a more feminine look OR a more edgier look with a leather jacket.
How many times can I say feminine in one post, but it’s so true! The combo of ruffles, wraps, pink, and polka dots just screams it!
The Dress
I picked up my dress from Urban Outfitters on sale. I did have to size up to a medium because it was SO short on me & I’m honestly not that tall. A few other places that have some great wrap dresses: Forever 21, asos, and Nordstrom.
The Denim Jacket

It’s not only such a great transition piece for this time of the year but it can be paired with just about anything.
The Faux Fur Stole
A faux fur stole is easy to throw on and adds that little touch of glam. We’ve styled it with a wool coat before HERE. Perfect way to add detail without spending a ton of money!
The Booties
I’ve recently started to really love booties. I’ve been picking up most of them from Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, and H&M. We’ll actually be putting out a blog post on Friday on designer vs. affordable boots!
Tips For Wearing Polka Dots
Go for a more natural makeup look and allow the polka dots to be the main statement
For the shoes stick with a solid color or a simple print like leopard
Layer with a jacket: denim, leather, or suede. For a even more chic look just throw over your shoulders
Add a dainty necklace whether that be one or a few necklaces layered
