Time to throw it back to the 80’s & 90’s!! You know what couldn’t be truer? What goes around comes around. Fashion from the 80’s and 90’s are coming back and we’re getting just a little nostalgic. It’s SO much fun looking back and remembering all those things you grew up with.
Katie: During the 80’s I went to middle school (it was called junior high when I went), high school, and college. I graduated college in 1990. The 80’s were a decade of bad fashion and hair! To be honest, most trends I could probably do without recreating.
Lydia: And technically for me, I wouldn’t be considered a 90’s kid because I was born in 1999. No throwing shade though because I remember all of these from when I was growing up in the early 2000’s! You could say I was fashionable back then with my platform sneakers, see-through backpack, and my juicy couture sweatsuit.
80’s & 90’s Throwback

Lunchables are popular no matter what year it is. If you brought a lunchable to school, you were the cool kid! I remember always getting to pick out a lunchable, soda, and treat (Reeses PB cup) whenever I went on field trips. 1981 MTV officially hit the air. Back when it came on, it aired only music videos. It truly was the best to sit and watch hours of great music videos. Bruce Springsteen Born in The USA album was probably my favorite, but Micheal Jackson’s Thriller was a close second. Let’s not forget to talk a little bit of the 90’s with Nirvana, Back Street Boys, and Madonna. So many musicians drove how we wanted to dress. Flannel shirts hit it big with the 90’s grunge look, and Madonna made us all want to dress like her.
