One thing we’ve started doing is exploring/basically going to a new place to eat each Friday. We BOTH have lived in St. Louis our entire lives and honestly have not been that adventurous when it comes to exploring our city. Better late than never, right? Glad we started because we have been having SO much fun and have found a ton of new restaurants that have quickly become a favorite.
Did you know that St. Louis is one of the top ‘foodie cities’ in the nation? Because we totally did not, guess that shows just how much we know about the city we live in, haha!
Best Restaurants In St. Louis
All the restaurants we mention, are places we have been to before and worthy of sharing. We have an ongoing list of places we are wanting to try so this blog post will be updated each time we find a new place we love. Without further ado, let’s talk about all things food related! If you have any recommendations for us, be sure to share them.
Breakfast/Lunch
(smashed avocado toast + apple & brie toast + lavender rose latte + Aztec chocolate latte)
Fiddlehead Fern Cafe:
You can find fresh, seasonal botanical ingredients throughout their menu. We love the minimalistic vibe on the inside & outside with the prettiest plates and presentation.
- Coffee & espresso, flavored lattes, tea, etc. (we LOVE the lavender rose & Aztec chocolate latte)
- Breakfast bowls
- Loaded toasts (all so so good)
- Soups & Salads
- Bakery items
(roasted buttonwood farm’s turkey + salted caramel latte + Mayan mocha chocolate)
Handcrafted by Bissinger’s:
Wine, chocolate, and food! Honestly, what could get better? Gourmet coffees, culinary craftsmanship, decadent chocolate, and a 24-bottle, self-dispensing wine wall.

Bowood Farms + Cafe Osage:
A home-grown business with roots in the community. Located within Bowood Farms, Cafe Osage features fresh vegetables and herbs grown directly on site. We enjoyed our meal outside on the courtyard with a view of their garden.
Also, if you are obsessed with home & gift then you NEED to take a look around Bowood Farms. Gardening, crystals, plants, home, self-care, kids, and all things stationery.
