We picked up a couple pairs during the Nordstrom Sale, and since boot season is here, we’re going to be sharing how to style them + a few sock boot outfit ideas.

Go For a Monochromatic Look

When in doubt go head to toe in all the same color. Add a fun bag or scarf for a little bit of added texture to your look. Zara and Mango have an affordable, on-trend selection of bags.

Sock booties and mini skirts are a perfect match. A sock bootie doesn’t add any extra bulk or weight to your bottom half, major plus!

Leggings

Leggings are perfect no matter what your sock boot style is. Choose a legging that is the same tone as your bootie to create a long lean look.

Wear your Sock Booties with a Dress

Whatever length your dress is, a sock bootie is a perfect choice. Try choosing a boot with a pointed toe to draw the eye to the tips of the shoe making your legs look longer.

Let your Sock Booties Add Some Color

When wearing a neutral color/print such as plaid or leopard, try wearing a fun color sock bootie for an added statement.

• Crop Jeans  – crop jeans are perfect for sock booties. Make sure that your crop jeans hit right above the ankle.
• Skinny Jeans – tuck or not to tuck your skinny jeans? I tend to roll mine right above my sock bootie. I feel like tucking them adds a little to much bulk.
• Boyfriend Jeans – the perfect boot styled with your favorite boyfriend jeans. Add a cuff to your jeans so that you can show off those sleek boots.

I love styling a pair of shorts with a pair of over the knee sock boots. Add a chunky knit sweater for a cozy, oversized fall and winter look.

Hoodie and Leather Skirt

Are you ready for a mixture of athleisure wear goodness? Put on a hooded sweater + leather skirt + over the knee sock boots = we need to try this look ASAP.

Our Favorite Sock Booties

Right now, Nordstrom has the best selection and price range when it comes to sock boot styles. If you are a big boot lover like I am, then I think you’ll really find yourself loving a pair of sock booties. It’s the best feeling when one pair of shoes can be styled with so many pieces from your wardrobe.

My plaid and neutral sock boots are the perfect everyday pairs for me since I gravitate towards more casual looks. I don’t find myself dressing up a lot, but for any of you girls who do wear more of a business/dressed up wardrobe, a pair of peep-toe sock boots would be ideal.
