Free People Tunic

I honestly have no idea where this week has gone but it’s Friday!! It’s been filled with a mix of being productive and being super lazy which is a good combo you could say. I have been eyeing this Free People tunic for a while now and when I saw it was on sale I knew I had to grab it. What I like most is that there’s so many different ways you can wear and style it! I paired it with some shorts as you can see, but you could totally pair it with almost any style of jeans or even some leggings. I’ll definitely be doing both! 

I wouldn’t usually wear a tunic but for this upcoming fall and winter I’m trying to add in some new pieces that are more out of my comfort zone and honestly it’s working and been kinda fun! With all that being said, I wanted to share several different ways you could style this tunic for the cooler months coming up!

The tunic I’m wearing comes in two other colors and I’m thinking about picking up the black one as well! Pair it with some black ripped skinny jeans, black heeled booties, a hat, and you’re set. I’m totally going to be rocking that kind of outfit!

SHOP MY PICKS TO PAIR WITH A TUNIC

  A few more tips I want to share with ya:

• Play around with tucking in the tunic! You may love just one side tucked in or you may love the whole thing tucked in
• Throw on a leather or denim jacket. To make your outfit really chic just wear it over your shoulders
• Roll the sleeves different ways! push them up, fold a couple times.. The key is to NOT make them look perfect
• Figure out what shoes look best. Since tunics are more on the bigger side, stick with a shoe that’s skinnier and not as bulky looking

                 – that’s why I love the idea of over the knee boots with a longer tunic

                 – or some heels to add length. This is a really good option if you are shorter
