TGIF, friends! We have quite literally been running with our heads cut off since the end of April. Life has just been crazy and this weekend we finally don’t have any plans, hallelujah! BUT, next week we are off to Chicago for some early access Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping & shooting some looks with our friend/photographer, Hannah Schweiss. Last year when we went to the Nordstrom Michigan Avenue in Chicago, we just knew we had to come back this year for the Anniversary Sale. That Nordstrom is insane (in a good way) and we have high hopes for what they’ll have. Because let’s face it, our Nordstrom at home has just about nothing!
Heartloom Clothing: Summer 18 Collection
We definitely are jumping up and down for Heartloom’s summer 18 collection, seriously! It’s MORE than good and we honestly wouldn’t complain if we had each piece in our closets. Nora Dress
This maxi wrap dress quite literally flutters at every turn. I ADORE the ruffle edged sleeves and the little v neckline, which is perfect for layering some trendy summer accessories. Plus, the color just makes me happy. I don’t know about you but I just love how I feel when I wear a maxi dress.
Imagine how cute the Nora dress would be paired with a straw bag and white sneakers! I went with my favorite marc fisher espadrille wedges because I am only 5’2″ so without some wedges/heels it’s way too long for me.

Sybil Top
Oh, Sybil top how I love you so. The detailed knit lace down the middle and flutter sleeves add a touch of femininity that’s perfect. Such a good weekend top (also comes in pink). That can easily be thrown on with some denim shorts or jeans and a belt. Throw on some sneakers for a day of running errands and then swap out for some wedges for date night.

Hester Top
I’m imagining myself on the beach with the Hester top thrown over my swimsuit right about now. The ruffle sleeves and tassels give off that boho chic vibe (also comes in white). Pair with denim shorts, boyfriend jeans, or a denim skirt.

May top
I love the May top (also comes in white) because it can easily be worn from day to night. The self-tie shoulder detail and crochet lining are a trendy must-have. It can be worn tucked in like I did or show off the adorable trim. Also, it has the cutest deep v in the back (but not too deep that can’t wear a bra) that makes this top look cute both coming and going.
