It’s the start of a new week and although Mondays aren’t always the best, we are trying to be more positive this year. Let’s not think of this as a Monday, but be grateful for another day to start fresh again! Anywayyys, let’s get down to business and talk loafer pumps. I got these gorgeous shoes as a Christmas gift and to say I have major heart eyes for them would be an understatement!! They remind me of Prada or Gucci loafer heels with a WAYYY more reasonably price attached to them. The best part about these beauties is they are super comfortable as well!
Why We Love Heeled Loafers
Loafer heels tend to have a chunkier heel, which adds A LOT more comfort when wearing them all day. We gravitate more towards a pointed heel, but loafers typically have more of a rounded toe with tassels or a buckle. & that really adds such a great addition to your heeled pump! They have been popping up more and more the past few seasons and the trend seems to be going strong. The best part about loafer heels is that you don’t have to spend a lot to jump on board. Which BTW, is great if you’re not sure you’ll love this type of shoe a year or so later!
Some Styling Tips
- Adding a little heel to any shoe you wear makes your legs look longer. Which let me tell you is a win in my book anytime!
- Wear metallic or lighter color heeled loafers as the weather becomes warmer and the season changes. Because lets be real, if you live anywhere like St. Louis, sometimes the weather has not got the memo that it’s spring and it can be C-O-L-D cold! So these babies will keep your feet warmer but still make it look like you’re dressing for the season
