Hey friends! Life has been just crazy over here and lately, we’ve been really laid back when it comes to our blog posts. There are months when we have all of these creative ideas and have several blog posts already done/planned ahead & it’s a great feeling. But what’s also a great feeling is just taking things day by day and not putting a lot of pressure on ourselves!

For sure, we will get back into having our blog posts more planned out. We definitely want to start doing some more fashion posts again, but are kind of waiting for Fall to be here… anyone else? SO, don’t you worry! But until then, we have a ton of photos we’ve taken that we truly LOVE and wanted to share them with you all. Let’s catch up and talk about life lately!!

Forever 21 Tops:

I have been loving Forever 21 tops lately. For us, we always like spending more money on denim & pants and then finding more affordable tops. These Madewell wide leg pants are some of the comfiest and come in several different prints. I LOVE this top right now, but I know it’s not something that I’m going to wear all the time, so that’s why I always check out F21.

Traveling & Jumpsuits:

This year we have done more traveling than usual and although we can’t stand leaving our animals, we’ve had such great times! We have been going to California each summer since 2013 and this summer we’re going to San Diego, which we have never been too. We keep joking that we are going to be leaving Lydia there and just shipping everything to her!! Also, jumpsuits… I keep finding myself gravitating towards them. SO easy to just throw on heels and have a fab looking outfit.

Real talk update:

Remember when I shared some real talk/how I was feeling? If not, you can read that HERE. Right now I can see that life has amazing things in store for me. You know why? Because of opportunities and friendships and support. If you’re feeling stuck or lost in what you should be doing, hear this from me. You will figure it out! I still have NO CLUE what I am going to end up doing, but when good things come your way, they’ll push you into walking towards opportunities. They’ll push you to work harder and to believe that the future will be just fine.

Gratitude:

Looking through these photos, it brings us gratitude. The photos of us together and remembering why we were laughing or how we were having a great time, just really reminds us of how much we have to be grateful for. We all have hardships in our life, we are in no way perfect, we fight & argue, and we have our own personal struggles that we deal with. But that’s life and a reminder that all of those memories, feelings, good or bad turn you into who YOU ARE. We may not have had a great day, but we sure do know that there is so much MORE to be grateful for and so many amazing memories to remember instead of letting that bad day consume you.

Exploring St. Louis:

They say St. Louis is the biggest small town. What do we even mean by that? St. Louis is a large metropolitan city, but the city and the county are separate. The county is made up a variety of suburbs and they are often referred to with separate geographical information – such as west, north, and south.

Growing up in St. Louis you don’t have to travel far to get what you want. Since that is the case there is SO much of STL that we have never explored. This summer we decided to change that! We are having so much fun seeing so much more of the city we live in. We put together a whole blog post so you can check out our adventures, Best Restaurants in St Louis. • Looking for a new pillow for whatever kind of sleeper you are? This Coop Home Goods – adjustable pillow is the best.
• We talked about the benefits of silk pillowcases in our Anthropologie Wellness Shop post. Lydia has the brand Slip pillowcase from that post, but Katie bought the Alaska Bear Natural Silk Pillowcase from Amazon Prime Day.
