Matching Sets + Random Thoughts

There is only so many photos and blog post ideas you can come up with, at least that’s how I am feeling right now. It’s kinda weird how some days you have all these GREAT ideas and then other days you can’t even seem to form a sentence. There are many many times where we decide to change up what we’re doing for a blog post or even scratch the whole blog post because we’re just not feeling it! We want to be HAPPY with everything we put out and although that’s not always the case, I am glad there is always room for improvement.

Some weeks are better than others and that goes for a blog as well. Although I don’t have some ahhmazing blog post idea for you today, I do have some photos that I want to share that will maybe make it on Instagram & I do have some random thoughts because those are just always FUN!

I just had to share some of my favorite photos because well, they’re my fave of me right now. Not afraid to admit it, haha! Maybe it’s because I am wearing some of my favorite pieces from my closet that are super comfy (obviously) or maybe it’s because I was having fun. OKAY, I just like it all and they make me happy!

You know what else makes me super happy? When I go to Brandy Melville and pick up some of the comfiest graphic tees/sweatshirts.

Are you ready for a story? I thought my tee had said California Native, but then I got an email a week or so later after I had received it saying I was getting refunded. I was literally SOOOO confused! It turns out that California was spelled wrong, but obviously, I hadn’t even noticed. Lucky day for me because in the end, I got a free tee!

You know who is always killing it with everything on their site, especially their tees & tops? Ascot + Hart that is.

I check Bershka at least once a week seeing if they have new arrivals, this off the shoulder blouse is from there. I was sold on the yellow stripes and sleeve detail, perfect for the summertime. Also, these Levi Wedgie Jeans may just be my worst nightmare, seriously! They are super uncomfortable and I can barely sit down, so that says something 😉 I feel like it’s only me though because everyone else just raves about them.

How many sweatshirts and white shoes can I have? In my eyes, never ever enough! I’m obsessing over my comfy vans sweatshirt and skort from Zara. Last year, we started a tradition where we go to Chicago each year. We are going at the end of July for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, yay! I can’t wait to hit up Zara as well since we don’t have one here.

I am wanting to do a blog post soon on eyelet tanks, but I need to get some to be able to put that together. It seems like we always go through phases of finding all the clothes in the world we are wanting & then other times not being able to find anything at all that we are loving. I can’t seem to find ANYTHING I am liking right now. I keep joking that we are going to have to quit being fashion bloggers since I haven’t found any new clothes in a while 😉

I’m kind of embarrassed by how pale I look! The summer heat/humidity and I are not friends, which means I’ll just be over here glowing in the dark.

Matching sets are SO good for the summertime! I love mix matching them, which I did at the top of this blog post with the same striped shorts. The annoying thing is they’re see-through… I feel like that has been the case with a lot of the shorts I have tried on recently.

I always find myself checking H&M if there is some type of trend I am loving, but don’t want to spend a ton of money. And that’s exactly what I did for this matching blazer & shorts set.

It can be HARD when you have all these visions, dreams, and goals but feel like you just aren’t getting anywhere. We all have those weeks where we are just harder on ourselves and may be struggling more than normal. I always have to remind myself that I am exactly where I need to be, and the trials/tribulations that I may be facing are leading me to amazing places.
