Wednesday is one of our favorite days and to make it even better we’re talking about a new favorite trend of ours: see-through bags / clear bags / PVC tote bags. We were inspired by the $210 bag that no one can keep in stock and we can totally see why! This is definitely one of those trends that most are either going to love or going to hate.
Whether it’s a clear tote, stacked bags peaking out beneath a clear outer lining, or even a clear fanny pack we have quickly jumped on the trend. Not so much on the plastic / transparent fashion, but apparently if you receive a compliment saying “you look like you’re covered in plastic wrap”, you have nailed it.. so HEY never say never!
The obsession with all the unique handbags is in full force. Zara and Urban Outfitters have been killing us with all of theirs.. they need to stop before we have WAY too many bags in our closet, haha!
The vinyl tote I have from Zara is definitely more of a conservative see-through bag because of the interior bag taking up most of the inside. That’s a great way to ease into this trend! You can easily add any size of a coin purse/pouch into the middle of your see-through bag to make it more of a subtle look. Not to mention, it’s also great for holding items to make them more organized or items that you don’t want to be on display.

Another handbag trend that we’re liking is the net bag/macrame bag. They were in last year as well, but with spring just around the corner, we are really starting to love them! The Staud leather and net bucket bag is really popular right now & what you’ve most likely seen.
