It’s already Wednesday, wooh! We wanted to talk about ‘that 70’s look’ with ya babes today. We had actually planned on doing a whole other post about these rainbow sweaters that we can’t seem to get enough of, but sometimes things just don’t work out! And that’s exactly what happened, we wrote the whole blog post and within an hour the sweaters had sold out so we had to scratch the whole idea. But that’s A-OK because this post is wayy more fun 😉
Anyways, enough blabbing and let’s talk about some of our favorite items that bring major ‘that 70’s look’ vibes!
We’re both loving this button down top. Can’t decide if we love the star print or slate color more!
Really liking this colorblocked sweater bodysuit.. perfect fall colors.
I just picked up this mock neck sweater and I’m also adoring this ribbed mock neck sweater (comes in 4 colors). Great for layering under jackets, dresses, and even sweaters.
We’ve been eyeing this brixton fiddler hat for a little bit now. Also comes in black!
Not everyone’s fave, but I’m kinda loving this felt beret (comes in 5 colors). I just tried one on at Nordstrom last week and it turned out to be super cute on!
This Levi’s Sherpa cordurary jacket just screams 1970’s and I love it! I especially love the color.
Velvet velvet velvet! I am dying over this green velvet blazer. Also love this velvet boyfriend blazer, the color is ahhmazing!
Can never go wrong with floral embroidered mom jeans. They’ll look great tucked into a sweater and some booties.
We’re always looking for some belts! This studded western belt would look great with a plain tee and some jeans.
Another mock neck sweater we just picked up is this striped one. Love the simplicity and the colors!
I’ve been eyeing this Silence + Noise sweater for a while now (comes in 4 colors)! Love the oversized look and how soft it is.
This rainbow chenille sweater is super fun! Chenille sweater’s are really in right now and we’re totally not complaining. We actually did a blog post about them here.
When I saw this half zip striped sweater I immediately thought of The Brady Bunch, that was my favorite show growing up! Little known fact some people even called me Katie Brady because I was slightly obsessed with the show. I have the series on DVD and I had my kids watch it on long car trips! hahaha
These Jeffrey Campbell over the knee boots have that block heel, square toe, and micro suede material that would pair well with a button front skirt. Combine those two looks and you are well on your way to representing the 70’s!
I have these Steve Madden white booties and I truly love them! I feel the boots elevate any outfit that I pair it with and just gives that cool retro/70’s vibe!
