Warm and cozy for Fall, that’s exactly how we like it. We just love that chill in the air, the smell of fall, the leaves falling, and the need to layer. But we also really just love curling up on the couch with our sweats, smelling the Fall candles burning while something in the oven is baking, and watching our favorite tv shows.
Warm and Cozy For Fall
As you can tell, there are so many things that factor into why we love Fall so much. From the traditions to the warm and coziness, this time of year just fills us up with so much gratitude. Coming from two girls who are true indoorsies and homebodies, we want to chat about what makes this season even more enjoyable for us.
Favorite TV Shows
As we mentioned in our reasons why we love Fall post, Fall tv is our favorite and for 9 years we have had a family tradition revolving around Wednesday night tv. This season we’ve discovered a new show that we are obsessed with called A Million Little Things. There have been 3 episodes and in each one, we are like, what? no way! It truly is such a great show that has SO many twists and turns. We think it’s a must to add on to your watch list.
Favorite Fall Scents
No secret that we love candles. There is something about that warm glow and the delicious smells of caramel, vanilla, apple, or pumpkin. Any of those warm, yummy fall like scents that fill your home.
We just received a Vellabox in the mail. Vellabox is artisan candle subscription box and each month you receive a non-toxic, lead-free, hand poured candle from the best companies throughout the world. We received two candles – one called hayride and the other called cinder. They both smell like the definition of Fall. We gotta say that this is one subscription box we can jump on board with!
Loungewear
Our love for loungewear runs deep and it’s what you will find us wearing most days. We are constantly on the search for comfy pieces that look and feel good. We love to find a cute pair of joggers and style it with a fun graphic tee, sweatshirt, layered with a flannel, or some type of jacket.
And the sweatshirts we’re wearing couldn’t describe us any better… indoorsy and homebody.
Holidays
We love the holidays. September rolls around and the fall decor & Halloween decorations come out. We typically decorate for each holiday a couple of months before. That way we are able to enjoy them for a while!
At the beginning of November, we decorate for Christmas. From the outside, it might look like we have skipped over Thanksgiving, but that is the farthest from the truth. We love Thanksgiving and the wonderful traditions it brings. Getting together with all of our family throughout the season brings happiness and gratitude to our hearts.
Daylight Savings
Yes, I (Katie) might be in the minority but I love when the days get shorter. I love getting into my jammies early and hunkering down in the house. Hey, what can I say, I am a homebody at heart and I love my home.
Comfort Food
Nothing says Fall like a warm and hearty meal. Our favorite is when the house is filled with smells from a meal cooking. You know it’s that time of year to bust out the crockpot and eat a warm meal. We just made this healthy pumpkin bread that was so moist and so delicious + we added chocolate chips… definitely going to be making this recipe again!
Lazy Days
When the days get chillier it seems like life slows down a bit and we love that. I (Katie) am a person that can not handle being on the go all the time. Although I like doing things, I need my alone time and time where there is not anything on the schedule. Being at home surrounded by the things I love and the people I love refuels me.
